Keeping Children Safe
As part of our efforts to maintain a high standard of safeguarding for our children, we will be delivering the NSPCC PANTS programme to the children in EYFS and KS1.
This programme is a child-friendly way of delivering important information to children about how to keep themselves safe and it will also teach them about what things they should and should not expect of others in regards to their own bodies.
The programme uses Pantosaurus to deliver songs and games to the children as an introduction to deliver the key message of the acronym PANTS to help children to stay safe.
If you would like more information about the programme, all of the information is available to you at: https://www.nspcc.org.uk/preventing-abuse/keeping-children-safe/underwear-rule/
I have also attached a sheet of frequently asked questions to this letter to give additional information.
If you have any questions about how the school will be delivering the programme, please come to see me.
There is a specific section for parents too so that you can discuss at home with your child.
