RHE Consultation for Parents/Carers

Relationships and Health Education (RHE) and Relationship and Sex Education (RSE) Consultation open from Tuesday 1st December to Tuesday 15th December

From September 2020, it is a statutory requirement that all schools in England are teaching Relationship and Health Education as a fundamental part of the curriculum.

As part of implementing the RHE/RSE curriculum, schools must consult with stakeholders to ensure there is a general consensus on our approaches to policy and the curriculum content.

We are asking parents to read through the following two documents:

-PHSE (Personal, Social, Health Education) including RHE Policy 2020

-Changing Me Overviews

We have provided two leaflets below, to support you with your understanding for the requirements of Relationship and Health Education.

-DfE Guide for Parents

-Jigsaw – Relationship Education, Health Education and Sex Education in the primary school.

Please email any questions or comments to milton@learningvillage.org.uk. Your comments and questions will be reviewed as part of the consultation.
